Massage Therapy

Nancy Hudspeth
Nancy HudspethMy first massage experience was the day before my wedding in 1998. Little did I know how much that experience would stay with me. I had another massage a year or so later and realized how wonderful it would be if one day I could make a person feel as relaxed and physically/mentally well as I did.

When my husband and I moved to this area in 2003, I quickly researched massage schools and was able to attend the oldest massage school in the state, Red Mountain Institute for the Healing Arts.  At Red Mountain I was given the opportunity to receive amazing training and knowledge.

In September of 2006, I was fortunate enough to further my training with Claire Marie Miller on the gift of giving Pre & Postnatal massage as well as labor and delivery support. I took a Fertility course at The Atlanta School of Massage & was certified in helping couples achieve their most precious gift, pregnancy.

Being a wife and mother of two beautiful children, I understand the stress that families endure attempting to balance family and business.  I strive to make every massage an oasis from this hectic world.   Let me help your well being today. Massage is proven to strengthen the immune system, calm the mind and body, and help in prevention of illness and injury.

Dr. Jessica Asks some important questions of interest to Pelham residents - Chiropractor Pelham Dr. Jessica Asks...

What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Pelham folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
What's a side effect?
It may sound like a bonus; something extra, but chiropractors know it should more accurately called an "unintended effect," and "unwanted effect" or in some cases an "adverse effect." A pill can't come close to matching your body's ability to create and deliver the essential compounds it needs. That's when it's important to make sure your nervous system is working correctly—the purpose of chiropractic care!
